Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Sanya and take you to the Sanya train station the next day to catch the high-speed train to Meilan International Airport.
The average daily distance is around 95KM, with a range from 80KM to 115KM. This itinerary is well-suited for intermediate riders with some touring experience, as the route primarily follows coastal tourism roads with manageable elevation gain. Our support vehicle ensures you can ride at your own comfortable pace.
We provide well-maintained touring/hybrid bikes suitable for paved roads. Yes, you are welcome to bring your own saddle, pedals, or other personal fittings. Please inform us in advance, and our mechanic will assist with the installation on Day 1.
Our support vehicle carries ample drinking water, electrolyte drinks, seasonal fruits (like bananas or oranges), energy bars, and basic first-aid supplies. These are available to you at all scheduled rest stops throughout the riding day.
The roads are primarily smooth, well-paved asphalt with wide shoulders, making for pleasant and safe cycling. The Volcanic Rock Windmill Coast section offers particularly unique and open scenic views with minimal traffic.
Each morning, you leave your packed main luggage at the hotel's reception or a designated spot by a set time (e.g., 8:00 AM). Our team loads it onto the support vehicle. It will be delivered to your next hotel room before your arrival in the afternoon.
No problem at all. The support vehicle follows the group. You can take a break in the vehicle for any distance—a short lift, a long stretch, or even for the remainder of the day. Your comfort and safety are our priority.
We usually have breakfast at the hotel and start cycling by 8:00-8:30 AM. We ride for about 1.5-2 hours before a short refreshment break. Lunch is at a local restaurant around midday. We aim to arrive at the next hotel between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM
Breakfast at the hotel is included. Lunches and dinners are not included in the package price, allowing you the freedom to choose. Our leader will recommend and organize group lunches at local restaurants, where you can enjoy authentic Hainanese cuisine at your own expense.
We select clean, safe, and well-reviewed 3-star equivalent or better hotels. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and WiFi. They are chosen for their convenient location relative to our route and their ability to provide a good rest after a day of riding.
We recommend breathable cycling clothing, a lightweight waterproof/windproof jacket, arm/leg warmers for variable temperatures, high-SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, and your personal riding gear like gloves. Casual clothes and shoes are needed for evenings.
Absolutely! Scenic and cultural stops are a key part of the journey. We schedule regular photo and rest stops at major highlights like the Volcanic Rock Windmill Coast. The pace allows for appreciation, not just riding.
Group sizes are kept intimate, usually between 8-15 people, to ensure good support and camaraderie. Participants are typically adventure-loving travelers from various backgrounds, united by a passion for cycling and exploring new places.
Upon arriving in Sanya in the afternoon, we'll check into the final hotel. The rest of the day and evening are free for you to explore Sanya, celebrate the journey's end, and enjoy a well-earned rest. The included transfer to the airport/station is the following day.
Yes, all selected hotels provide Wi-Fi. During the ride, mobile data coverage is generally good along the main routes, allowing you to share photos. The support vehicle also serves as a charging hub for electronic devices if needed.
The west coast offers a more rustic and culturally immersive experience. You'll cycle past traditional fishing villages, ancient salt pans, dramatic volcanic rock formations, and serene coastal landscapes with fewer tourists. It's ideal for riders seeking authentic local character and tranquil beauty.
