Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.

The west coast offers a more rustic, cultural, and less commercialized experience. You’ll cycle through traditional fishing villages, past quiet salt pans and farmlands, and along serene beaches without large crowds. It feels closer to everyday local life and the island’s natural roots.
Yes, absolutely. The route primarily follows flat or gently rolling coastal tourism roads. Daily distances are manageable (60-120km), and the pace is relaxed with plenty of breaks. Our support vehicle is always available if you need a rest.
We provide comfortable hybrid or touring bikes suitable for paved roads. Upon arrival on Day 1, our guide and support staff will help you with bike fitting, adjustment (saddle height, handlebars), and a short test ride to ensure everything feels right
Each morning, you leave your main luggage at the hotel reception. Our support vehicle transports it directly to your next hotel. When you arrive in the afternoon, your luggage will be ready for you—often already in your room. You only carry a small day bag while riding.
Breakfast at the hotel is included. Lunches and dinners are not included in the package, giving you flexibility. We typically stop as a group at local restaurants for lunch, where you can enjoy authentic, affordable Hainanese dishes. Our leader makes excellent recommendations.
Our bilingual leader and support van driver carry tools, pumps, and basic spare parts. They can handle most common repairs quickly by the roadside. For more complex issues, the support van can transport you and your bike to the next town.
We aim to start cycling by 8:00 AM after breakfast. We ride for about 1.5-2 hours before a short refreshment break. Lunch is around midday. We usually arrive at the next hotel between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, giving you time to relax or explore the area.
Yes. The itinerary includes riding to and staying near Ocean Flower Island. We plan the schedule to allow time for you to explore its unique architecture and waterfront areas. Other scenic spots along the route also have planned or optional stops.
We select clean, comfortable, and well-located hotels, ranging from modern city hotels to the best available local inns in smaller towns. All include private bathrooms, air conditioning, and breakfast. They offer a welcoming rest after a day of riding.
Essential cycling gear: padded shorts, breathable jerseys, cycling gloves, sunglasses. For the coast: high-SPF sunscreen, a sun hat, swimwear, and a light jacket for breezy evenings. Also pack casual clothes, comfortable shoes, and personal toiletries.
We ride as a flexible group. Faster riders can go ahead, knowing the route, while the leader stays with the main group. We regroup at scheduled rest stops, lunch, and at key turns. The support van follows at the rear, so no one is left behind.
Traffic is generally light, especially on the dedicated tourism road sections which are designed for scenic travel. G225 has more traffic but wide shoulders. We choose the safest possible routes and times, and our leader emphasizes road safety throughout.
Day 8 is free for you to enjoy Sanya at your own pace. You can relax on the beach, explore markets, visit attractions, or simply rest by the hotel pool. Your luggage is stored, and our leader can provide suggestions based on your interests.
On the final cycling day, we arrive at our Sanya hotel. The next day (Day 9), we provide a private transfer to Sanya Airport or the train station according to your departure schedule, ensuring you arrive with plenty of time.
Absolutely. Many travelers join solo. Shared meals, daily rides, and common interests naturally create camaraderie. Our leader fosters an inclusive atmosphere, and the small group size helps everyone connect.
