Another option is to stay in Haikou and embark on a 3-day cycling adventure, exploring three different directions from the city. Each route spans approximately 100 km, allowing you to head east to Mulan Bay in Wenchang, west to Chengmai, and south to Dingan.

Yes, it's designed to be challenging yet achievable. The route follows coastal tourism roads and provincial highways which are mostly flat, allowing for steady progress. We start early, take regular breaks, and the support vehicle is always available if you need to rest. The focus is on enjoying the journey, not rushing to the finish.
Our support vehicle handles all luggage transfers. Each morning, you leave your main luggage at the hotel. It will be transported directly to the next hotel, so you only need to carry a small daypack with essentials like water, sunscreen, and a camera while riding.
Day 1 heads east to Wenchang, featuring coastal views, fishing villages, and the iconic Mulan Bay windmills. Day 2 turns south to Qionghai with more rural and cultural landscapes. Day 3 returns to Haikou, combining countryside riding with the anticipation of completing the loop.
The roads are well-paved, smooth, and generally have wide shoulders, making them ideal for cycling. Traffic is light, especially on the tourism roads, allowing you to ride safely while enjoying the views.
Our support vehicle follows the group closely. You can take a break in the vehicle anytime, and our guide or driver can handle most roadside repairs (like flat tires) quickly. For larger issues, we can transport you and your bike to the nearest repair point.
Breakfast at the hotels is included. Lunches are not included, giving you the freedom to choose. Our leader will recommend local restaurants where you can try Hainanese specialties like Wenchang chicken, seafood noodles, and fresh tropical fruits.
Lightweight cycling gear is recommended, along with a windproof jacket for cooler mornings. Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, and a helmet (provided). Pack a small bag with water, snacks, and a change of clothes for the evening.
We ride as a flexible group. Faster riders can go ahead and wait at designated points, while the leader stays with the main group. Regular regrouping ensures no one is left behind, and the support vehicle follows at the rear for safety.
We select comfortable, clean hotels with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. They offer a relaxing environment to rest after a day of riding, often located conveniently near local attractions or dining areas.
Yes. We schedule arrivals at the hotels by mid-afternoon, giving you time to freshen up and explore the local area. You can visit nearby landmarks, try local snacks, or simply relax before dinner.
This tour offers a continuous adventure, allowing you to cover more ground and fully immerse in the changing landscapes and culture. The multi-day format builds camaraderie and a sense of accomplishment that isolated day trips cannot match.
We aim to start by 8:00 AM after breakfast. With breaks for photos and lunch, we usually finish riding between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, depending on the day’s distance and pace.
After arriving back in Haikou in the afternoon, we'll conclude the tour. You can choose to extend your stay in the city or arrange onward travel. Our team can provide recommendations for local activities or dining to celebrate your journey.
Safety is our priority. In case of heavy rain or strong winds, we can adjust the route, take a break, or use the support vehicle for transport. Light rain is common in the tropics, so a waterproof jacket is recommended.
Absolutely! Many of our guests travel solo. If you choose twin sharing, we’ll pair you with another solo cyclist of the same gender. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people and share the experience.
