Soar Over Paradise – Your First Flight Above Haitang Bay
Close your eyes and picture this: wind rushing past your ears, toes dangling above turquoise water, and below you—Haitang Bay’s iconic white sands stretching like sugar, dotted with swaying coconut palms. This isn’t a dream. Our paragliding experience lets you trade crowded beaches for the sky, turning “wish I could fly” into “I did.” Whether you pick the quick 8-minute thrill or the 13-minute adventure, every second feels like stealing magic from the clouds.
Two Ways to Fly – Pick Your Adventure
We get it: some crave a quick adrenaline hit, others want to linger in the breeze. That’s why we have two packages:
.Basic Package (CNY 1,080/person): 8 minutes of pure joy, plus HD photos and videos to prove you didn’t just imagine the view.
.Premium Package (CNY 1,380/person): 13 minutes of extra airtime, the same media, anda 30-second edited highlight reel—perfect for Instagram, TikTok, or just reliving the moment with friends.
Both come with internationally certified instructors (they’ll even chat with you mid-air if you ask!) and gear checked twice daily. Safety? Non-negotiable.
Before You Fly – Tips to Make It Smooth
A little prep goes a long way:
.Download Apps First: Get GoPro Quik and Insta360 ready—your footage will auto-sync, so editing later is a breeze (no blurry screenshots!).
.Timing Matters: Exact flight time lands in your inbox the day before—be ready early; instructors hate rushing nervous fliers.
.Weather Watch: Rain or strong winds? We’ll reschedule. Can’t fit you in later? Full deposit refund, no hassle.
Absolutely! Our instructors are trained to keep things light—they’ll point out hidden coves below, tell you how old the coconut palms are, or even share a funny story about a previous flier who screamed when a seagull flew too close. Silence? Never happens.
Aim to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time. That gives you time to sign the safety form, meet your instructor, and watch the pre-flight demo without feeling hurried. Rushing makes everyone (especially nervous fliers) tense—we’d rather you start calm.
Most people don’t, but if you’re worried, avoid heavy meals 2 hours before flying. Our instructors also know gentle ways to stabilize the glider if you feel queasy—they’ll keep you informed every step, so you never feel “out of control.”
Phones are tricky up there—wind might blow them out of your hands! But don’t worry: our GoPro and Insta360 cameras capture everything. After landing, we’ll help you download the footage via the apps you pre-downloaded, so you’ll have HD shots without risking your device.
It’s tiny but cozy—think wooden benches and the smell of fresh coconut. They serve cold coconut water (perfect post-flight!), local mango sticky rice, and simple fried noodles. Nothing fancy, but it hits the spot if you’re peckish before or after your flight.
We check wind speed, cloud cover, and rainfall hourly. If there’s even a slight risk (like gusty winds), we’ll email you by 6 PM the day before to confirm or reschedule. No surprises—you’ll know for sure before you pack your bag.
We totally understand! Just mention it when booking, and we’ll do our best to match you. While we can’t guarantee it (depends on staff schedules), we’ll prioritize your comfort—happy to ask around or wait for the next available one.
The takeoff is surprisingly smooth—think “gentle lift” rather than a jump. Your instructor will hold the glider steady until you’re airborne, and there are no sudden drops. Most first-timers say, “That was softer than getting into a taxi!”
Morning flights (8–10 AM) have calmer winds and softer light—perfect for photos. Afternoon (3–5 PM) has warmer air, so the glider feels more buoyant, and you might catch the sunset if you’re on the 13-minute flight. Both are great; it’s up to your vibe!
Comfort is key! Wear sneakers (no flip-flops—they might slip), and clothes that won’t restrict movement (loose T-shirts, shorts). Avoid skirts or dresses—wind can make them fly up (embarrassing!). We have extra jackets if it’s chilly, but in Sanya, that’s rare.
No biggie! We have a tablet at the base with the apps pre-installed. Staff will help you log in with your phone number and sync your footage—takes 5 minutes max. Just make sure your phone has enough storage (the videos are HD, so they’re a bit large).
