Day Tour to Hainan Yahu Terrace:
Our day tour commences at 9 am from Sanya Downtown and includes visits to the Hainan Museum of Ethnic Minorities and Yahu Terrace. We begin at the Museum of Ethnic Minorities, followed by a local lunch at an authentic restaurant. After lunch, we proceed to Yahu Terrace, with an opportunity to visit a local family. The entire tour lasts around 9 hours.
The Hainan Yahu Day Tour is priced at CNY499/person, with a minimum of 4 persons per trip. It includes private round-trip transfers by Volvo V90, an English-speaking tour guide, local lunch, and admission fees.
The tour involves a gentle walk through the terraces with opportunities to rest and take in the views. While there are some slopes, the pace is relaxed. For those preferring less walking, scenic vistas are accessible near the parking area. Please inform us in advance if any members of your group have mobility concerns so we can ensure the best experience.
We recommend comfortable walking shoes, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), and a light jacket as mountain weather can be changeable. Don't forget your camera! A bottle of water is also a good idea. We will provide bottled water in the vehicle.
Yes, our private tour service offers flexibility. You can discuss customization options with your guide at the beginning of the day. Please note that while the itinerary can often be adjusted, admission fees for skipped attractions are non-refundable.
We enjoy lunch at a local authentic restaurant, typically featuring Hainan and Li ethnic cuisine, such as Wenchang chicken, locally grown vegetables, and bamboo rice. Yes, we can accommodate common dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, no pork) if you inform us at the time of booking.
Light rain usually won't stop the tour and can add a misty, poetic atmosphere to the terraces. We provide umbrellas. In case of severe weather that makes visiting unsafe (e.g., typhoon, heavy storm), we will contact you in advance to discuss rescheduling or a full refund.
This is a brief, respectful visit to experience daily life. You might see traditional housing, learn about local customs, or observe handicrafts. It's a chance for cultural exchange. Please be mindful and ask for permission before taking photographs of people.
Yes, there are public restroom facilities available at the main viewing area. Your guide will inform you of their location.
