You’ll cycle past tranquil fishing villages where life moves with the tides, vast salt pans sparkling in the sun, quiet stretches of sandy beach, and traditional farmland. The pace is slower, the landscapes more rustic, and interactions with local communities feel genuine and unscripted.
On Day 1 during equipment check, our guide will discuss your preferences (frame size, riding style) and recommend the most suitable bike from our fleet (Giant, Merida, Bianchi). You’ll have the opportunity for a short test ride and adjustment to ensure a comfortable fit before we start the journey.
Our support vehicle handles all luggage transfers. Each morning, you leave your main suitcase at the hotel. It will be safely transported and delivered directly to your next hotel room, so you only need to carry a small daypack with essentials like water and sunscreen while riding.
We usually have breakfast at the hotel between 7:00-7:30 AM, then do a quick bike check and briefing. We aim to start cycling by 8:00 AM. We ride with breaks every 1.5-2 hours for water, snacks, and photos. Lunch is around midday. We typically arrive at the next hotel between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
We will pair solo travelers of the same gender to share a twin room. It’s a great way to make a new friend who shares your passion for cycling and adventure. If you prefer privacy, the single occupancy option is available.
Hotel breakfasts are usually a mix of Chinese and Western options like congee, noodles, eggs, bread, and fruit. During cycling days, lunches (if organized for groups) are hearty meals at local restaurants, featuring fresh seafood, Hainanese chicken, vegetable dishes, and rice. For smaller groups or individual riders, our leader will recommend great local eateries.
The support vehicle follows the group along the route. Its main roles are to carry supplies, provide mechanical support, and transport luggage. Absolutely—if you feel tired or simply want a break, you can ride in the vehicle for any section. It’s your journey, and flexibility is key.
Don’t worry! Our support vehicle carries a full tool kit, spare inner tubes, and basic parts. Our guide or driver is experienced in roadside repairs and can fix most common issues quickly. You can also carry a provided spare tube and learn how to change one if you like.
The Hainan Tourism Road sections are beautifully paved, coastal roads with wide shoulders and very light traffic—perfect for cycling. National Road 225 is a bit busier but still manageable with clear lanes. Our route prioritizes safety and scenic enjoyment.
Day 8 is completely free for you to enjoy Sanya at your own pace. You can relax on the famous beaches, explore the city, do some souvenir shopping, or simply enjoy the hotel facilities. Our guide will be happy to provide suggestions based on your interests.
We use a “rolling regroup” system. Faster riders can go ahead but wait at predetermined points (like major turns or scenic spots). The guide typically rides in the middle of the group, and the support vehicle follows at the rear. We all regroup for breaks, lunch, and at the end of the day.
Essentials include: padded cycling shorts, breathable jerseys, cycling gloves, sunglasses, high-SPF sunscreen, a sun hat, a reusable water bottle, and a light waterproof jacket. Also pack casual clothes for evenings, swimwear, comfortable shoes, and personal toiletries.
We select clean, comfortable, and well-located hotels that offer the best available standards in each area. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. They provide a welcoming and restful environment after a day of exploration.
After completing the final ride into Sanya on Day 7, you’ll check into the hotel. On the departure day (Day 9), we provide a private transfer to Sanya Phoenix Airport at a pre-arranged time that aligns with your flight schedule, ensuring a stress-free end to your journey
Yes, absolutely. While more rustic, the route passes through towns and villages at regular intervals where you can find shops and small markets. Additionally, our support vehicle always carries ample water, fruit, and snacks for the group, and our guide is in constant contact with local resources.
