Artificial intelligence was definitely the star at this year’s 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE).

From AI-powered glasses and smart wellness chairs to self-driving logistics vehicles, AI is working its way into all kinds of consumer areas. It’s completely transforming the way we shop and experience products.

One big leap forward this year was in digital services. The organizers launched a smart expo guide, for example, that plans your visit based on what you like. It also uses AI to help identify exhibits and offers support in multiple languages, making everything much more accessible.

Meanwhile, iFLYTEK brought an AI translation screen that interprets speech on the spot, and Alipay offered a “tap-to-go” feature for quick entry and payment. And that’s just the start — from the minute visitors show up, the whole experience is digital.

Hall 1, the main venue for new tech, is showcasing the latest in “AI + consumption” — everything from smart home solutions and digital spending to the low-altitude economy. And one standout product? AI glasses.

Take Rokid’s AI glasses, for example. They blend AI and AR to give you real-time translation in 89 languages, navigation, instant visual payments, and even a teleprompter — and they’re getting a lot of buzz. By connecting with different large language models, the glasses create an experience that seamlessly blends the virtual and real worlds.

iFLYTEK has also rolled out AI glasses built on its Spark LLM, expanding into voice interaction and smart office applications.

But AI isn’t just for wearables. It’s also making its way into health and lifestyle. Take OSIM’s uDream AI5 wellness chair: it uses biosensors and smart massage tech to give you an immersive “five-sense experience,” taking health-focused consumption to the next level. Then there’s Taishan Sports’ urban health service center. It combines sports, medical care, and lifestyle services into one — it’s like a one-stop shop for managing your health.

In transportation and logistics, take something like autonomous delivery vehicles. They’re a great example of AI in action. These little vehicles can drive themselves, navigate around obstacles, and drop off packages with pinpoint accuracy. It’s a clear sign of how smart logistics is starting to change our everyday lives.

Meanwhile, low-altitude economy products are quickly moving from concept to reality, giving us a real glimpse of a three-dimensional future for getting around.

Overall, the 6th CICPE really showcased the latest and greatest in global consumer tech. And it’s clear that AI is no longer just a handy tool in the background — it’s becoming a core part of our daily lives.

From smart gadgets to how we create, take care of ourselves, and move things around, AI is changing the way we consume. The result? It’s making things easier, faster, and more personal.
