You will travel in a private van. The drive from Qionghai to Sanya typically takes about 2 hours, depending on traffic. The route is scenic, passing through Hainan's eastern coastal areas.
As a sacred Buddhist site, modest and respectful attire is appreciated. We recommend avoiding sleeveless tops, short skirts, or shorts. Comfortable walking shoes are also advised as the area involves some walking.
You will have a half-day upon arrival on Day 5, plus the evening, to explore Qilou Old Street at your own pace. This allows ample time to wander the historic streets, try local snacks, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy the atmosphere.
Must-try specialties include Jiaji Duck (嘉积鸭), Wanquan River seafood (万泉河海鲜), and Qionghai rice noodles (琼海米粉). Our driver or local contact can recommend authentic restaurants in the area where you can enjoy these at local prices.
Don't worry. Our driver will track your flight and be waiting for you at the airport regardless of the delay. We will adjust the day's schedule accordingly. If the delay is significant, we may proceed directly to the hotel in Qionghai.
