The Grocery is the only comprehensive museum on Hainan Island. Though Hainan has been a province under the Chinese central government since 1988, the museum was not finished until 2008. So to know about Hainan Island, we recommend tourists to visit so to know more about Hainan Island’s History, Culture, and Local Minority Nationalities.
Visitors Guide:
Location: The museum is located on Guoxin Avenue in Haikou, the capital city of Hainan Province, and is open daily from 09:00 to 17:00 except on Monday. It is free to visit with a maximum of 3,000 tickets issued daily, up to 16:30 every day. Please bring your Identification/Passport to get a ticket.
