Hainan Island is home to two airports: Haikou Meilan Airport in the north and Sanya Phoenix Airport in the south. If you arrive at Haikou Airport due to flight availability but need to reach Sanya, here are your travel options:

Haikou to Sanya by High-Speed Train:

Traveling by high-speed train along the east coast of Hainan Island takes approximately 1 hour 40 minutes to 2 hours. The Haikou Meilan Airport Station is conveniently located at the airport, with train services to Sanya running almost hourly from early morning until late evening.

Ticket prices are CNY 160/person including booking fee for adults, with half-price tickets available for children under 1.4 meters in height.
The last train departs at 10 PM, so if your flight arrives after 9 PM, catching the last train may be difficult. To reserve your train tickets, please email us with your passport copy.

Travel from Haikou to Sanya by Private Car or Van:

If your flight arrives after 9 PM, or if you have a significant amount of luggage, opting for a private transfer is the most convenient choice from Haikou Downtown or Haikou Meilan Airport.

A private car for up to 3 adults is available for CNY 1500 one way.
A private van accommodating up to 5 adults is priced at CNY 1800 one way.
For larger groups, a private mini-bus for up to 8 adults costs CNY 2000 one way.
Please note that our drivers speak Chinese. The listed prices apply for flight arrivals before 6pm. For pickups from Haikou Meilan Airport after 6 PM, the cost will increase by 30% due to the late hour.
