Cyclists from all over gather in Haikou, meet at the station for bike fitting, and in the evening can head to the South Gate of Hainan University to sample local snacks.
Bus transfer to Zhongfei Wharf early in the morning to start the ride, perfectly avoiding city traffic. Cycle along the Lingao Tourist Highway, pass by Cape Lingao, and arrive at the hotel in Lingao.
Experience the highlight of the journey—the Volcanic Windmill Coast. The dark volcanic rocks starkly contrast with the towering white wind turbines, while mighty waves crash against the shore, painting a scene both desolate and magnificent.
Though this day covers a longer distance, the road conditions are excellent—smooth, wide, and gently graded. Ride along the most scenic stretch of the West Coast tourist highway and enjoy the sheer thrill of the open road.
First, encounter the Daguang Dam—Asia's longest earth dam—and ride alongside the Changhua River. Then, enter the tourist highway through the National Tropical Rainforest Park, where you can immerse yourself in a true “forest bath” beneath towering ancient trees.
On the final day of riding, head south along Provincial Highway 314 until you reach the ancient city of Yacheng in Sanya. Here, medals and certificates will be awarded, bringing the journey to a perfect conclusion.
