Sanya Airport Adjusts Check-in Areas for Some Airlines
With the official opening of Sanya Airport’s Terminal 3 (T3), all Hainan Airlines flights will be relocated to T3 starting February 8, 2026, to improve check-in efficiency for passengers.
T3 is expected to handle approximately 70 daily flights​ initially, with gradual increases based on actual operational needs.
As we are currently in the peak travel period of the Spring Festival rush, Sanya Airport reminds you to:
Arrive at the airport at least 3 hours in advance​ to complete check-in procedures.
Plan your travel route according to real-time traffic conditions before departure.
If you are traveling by private car, ride-hailing service, or taxi from areas such as Haitang Bay​ or Yalong Bay, it is advised to take the G98 Expressway​ to the airport.

02. Hainan Airlines Ticket Purchase, Refund, and Changes​
Hainan Airlines (HU) ticketing counters have been relocated to Terminal 3 (T3). Passengers requiring ticket purchases, refunds, or modifications may visit the Hainan Airlines ticketing counter opposite Check-in Island F in T3​ for assistance.
Sanya Airport kindly reminds all passengers to check the latest check-in area arrangements in advance and plan your travel time accordingly to avoid delays.
