Here, homes, shops, and even temples are built on water, connected by a network of boardwalks. The harbor bustles with fishing boats, floating markets, and the timeless rhythm of tidal life.
Binglanggu Li & Miao Cultural Park
Set within a stunning valley of areca palms, Binglanggu is a living museum and cultural sanctuary dedicated to preserving the heritage of Hainan’s indigenous peoples. Far from a staged show, it features authentic village structures, working artisans,
and community elders who share their living traditions. The park offers a holistic immersion into the architecture, crafts, music, and spiritual beliefs of the Li and Miao nationalities.

Cultural Respect:
These are living communities. Always ask for permission before photographing individuals, especially elders. Dress modestly when visiting villages.

The tour involves a fair amount of walking. The cultural performance at Binglanggu involves outdoor seating.
The tour typically starts between 7:30-8:30 AM from your Sanya hotel and finishes around 5:00-6:00 PM, allowing you to fully experience both cultural sites.
Yes, private round-trip transportation is included. The drive from Sanya to Xincun Village takes about 1.5 hours, then another 40 minutes to Binglanggu, with scenic countryside views along the way.
