Tour of Hainan Island: 6 Days 5 Nights Travel Packages to the North, Middle & West Parts of Hainan Island
For tourists who have explored the east and south coast of Hainan Island, this 6-day package offers an ideal opportunity to visit the North, Middle, and West parts of Hainan Island. These areas are still very authentic, with fewer tourists and less construction. The tour begins in Haikou, covering Wuzhishan in the center of Hainan Island, as well as Changjiang & Danzhou in the west of Hainan Island, with the last two nights spent in Haikou.
The Travel Package is priced at CNY2599/adult (based on twin sharing), min. 6 persons/trip.
Why are lunch & dinner not included in the packages?
A minimum of 10 persons per table is required in local restaurants for group bookings. Therefore, for 6 persons/trip, we can’t arrange group lunches/dinners. Even if a group has 10 or more people, the menus in group restaurants offer similar, very common Chinese dishes.
We believe local food is an integral part of your tour experience. Our driver will recommend local restaurants at local prices. You can order and pay on-site. For your information, an ordinary local lunch or dinner costs around CNY30-50/person.

Arrival by morning or noon flight at Haikou Airport. Our driver will meet you at Haikou Meilan Airport, then drive to Wuzhishan 五指山 in about 2 hours along the middle highway through the mountains and tropical rainforest. Enjoy a simple lunch on the way at a small town named Tunchang 屯昌. Check in at the hotel, and then explore the local Li Village 水满 Shuiman Town. Dinner at a local restaurant in Shuiman Town.
Hotel in Wuzhishan: Wuzhishan Yatai Rainforest Hotel 五指山亚泰雨林度假酒店, a local 5-star hotel, located in the heart of Wuzhishan Rainforest.
Please note that foreign tourists are not allowed to climb Wuzhishan Mountain.
After breakfast in the hotel, enjoy an easy walk in the Wuzhishan Rainforest for about 1 hour. Then, visit Li & Miao Minority Museum in the city center of Wuzhishan and have lunch there. After lunch, embark on a 3-hour ride to Changjiang. Make a short stop in Baisha 白沙 (the only county in Hainan with no access to the highway & high-speed train) for Baisha Green Tea, check in at the hotel in Changjiang, and enjoy a late local dinner.

Visit Qiziwan Beach after breakfast at the hotel, then head to Danzhou 儋州. Visit Baimajin Fishing Port 白马井渔港 and have lunch there. Explore the local fishing town, Ancient Salt Fields 千年古盐田, and check in at the hotel in Danzhou 儋州 city center.

Enjoy an international buffet breakfast at the hotel, then visit Dongpo Academy 东坡书院 where Su Dongpo taught locals during his 3 years of exile on Hainan Island. Visit Lingaojiao Liberation Park 临高角解放公园, which is the first place Chinese Communist soldiers landed in 1950 to liberate Hainan Island. Have lunch in Lingao Town, one of the most authentic towns on Hainan Island. On the way to Haikou, make a stop at Fushan Coffee Theme Village 福山咖啡主题乡村 to taste local coffee, then head to Haikou for hotel check-in.
Hotel in Haikou: Huangma Hotel Haikou海口皇马假日酒店, a local 3-star hotel, located in the city center of Qilou Old Street.
Visit Wugong Temple and Hainan Provincial Museum to learn more about Hainan’s history before lunch. Spend the afternoon exploring the Qilou Old Street area on your own.
Pick up 3 hours before your flight departure time to Haikou Meilan Airport.
