Instead, our driver will recommend authentic local restaurants where you can order freely. You pay on-site (about CNY30-100 per person per meal), ensuring you enjoy diverse local flavors at fair prices.

The driver is Chinese-speaking. While he may not be fluent in English, he is very familiar with the local area and will gladly recommend popular local restaurants and help with basic communication at stops. For complex conversations, we recommend using a translation app.

Hainan is generally warm and tropical. We recommend lightweight, breathable clothing, comfortable walking shoes, swimwear, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. A light jacket might be useful for evenings or air-conditioned vehicles.
